Showaddywaddy Christmas Show at Kidderminster Town Hall

16th February 2017, 1:33 pm

Showaddywaddy lit up Kidderminster Town Hall like a Christmas tree, entertaining a full house with their vibrant delivery of rock ‘n’ roll covers and self penned material.  The band which are celebrating an amazing forty-four years touring, since coming runners-up in the ‘All Winners Final’  TV talent show, New Faces, comprise of original members Rod Deas on Bass and Romeo Challenger on Drums; Andy Pelos vocals, the multi talented Rob Hewins on guitar, drums and baritone vocals, Dean Loach on keyboards and Paul Dixon lead guitar.

Their latest album ‘Next Chapter’ released in August of 2016 demonstrates the band’s accomplished vocal harmonies in ‘Get a Job’ as well as the awesome song writing abilities of Dean Loach in ‘Dream I’m with You’ and Rob Hewins ‘Reelin’ Rockin’ Rollin’.  The band performed one song from there latest offering ‘The House is a Rockin’; and believe me Kidderminster Town Hall was a rockin’ to the rafters to the sounds of Showaddywaddy.

The second set featured ‘Hey Mr Christmas’, a hit for the band in 1974, reaching No. 13 in the UK charts; as well as the self penned ‘Hey Rock ‘n’ Roll’ which was only kept off the top slot by novelty record ‘The Streak’ by Ray Stevens, also in 1974.  Showaddywaddy’s sole No. 1 was the Curtis Lee cover, Under the Moon of Love, spending three weeks at the top of the charts in 1976.

A super talented band and one I would totally recommend for a wonderful evening of rock ‘n’ rock music. Showaddywaddy are next performing at Kidderminster Town Hall on Saturday 3rd March, 2018.

Jenny & Stephen’s Wedding at Hartsfield Manor, Surrey

26th April 2015, 7:52 pm

Jenny & Stephen enjoyed a beautiful wedding at Hartsfield Manor, Surrey.  After their ceremony the happy couple strolled out into the sunny gardens with family and friends.  Jenny who was given away by her brother, Matthew, looked stunning as she walked into the ceremony room, followed by sister Hayley and neice, Ida.

It was a truly wonderful occasion and a wedding I will certainly remember for a long time.

Wishing Jenny & Stephen every happiness for the future.
