David & Val’s Valentine Wedding

Dressed to impress: David Smith and Val Harbron, who were married wearing period costumes at St. Helen’s Church in Burton Joyce, Nottingham.  The couple were engaged on February 14th, Val’s birthday, around 14 years ago. Wedding guests also wore authentic period outfits.

A super wedding, I felt as though I’d travelled backwards in time in one of H G Well’s Time Machines. For me it was a truly unique experience that left me thinking how weddings must have been years ago, well before cameras were invented!

Royal Wedding Creates Boom For 2011

The announcement that Prince William & Kate Middleton are to marry next year has certainly ended a lot of speculation.   Their lavish wedding ceremony  to be held at West Minster Abbey, on the 29th April, will be viewed by millions from all over the World.  Already wedding providers are reporting increased demand for their services as interest grows in what will be a spectacular day not only for Wills & Kate but for the entire nation.

2011 will be a great year for weddings I’m sure - the Royal Wedding has been the stimulus that those employed in the wedding industry were looking for, a real shot in the arm!

Life’s a Ball for A Ball Photography

Last week I attended the Nottingham Nurses’ Graduation Ball, held at The Gateway Hotel.

Over one hundred recently graduated nurses from Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre were there, all looking absolutely fabulous in their stunning Ball gowns.
