Martin & Lizzie’s Beautiful August Wedding

3rd September 2014, 8:53 pm

Martin & Lizzi, from Sandiacre, Nottingham, were wed at Chilwell Road Methodist Church on Saturday 9th August; and their Reception was held at The Donington Manor Hotel, Castle Donington.

It was a cool breezy sunny day.  Lizzi looked every inch the stunning bride as she arrived at Church in a burgundy coloured 1969 Daimler V8-250.

Over one hundred family and friends attended their lovely wedding ceremony; followed by a tea and cake reception held in the adjacent Church Hall; before heading off to The Donington Manor Hotel, Castle Donington.

Enroute photos were taken at the beautiful village of Kingston upon Soar, where the newly weds toasted their marriage with a glass of champagne.

Speeches, the cutting of the cake and the traditional first dance followed to cap off their perfect day.

Richard & Kimberly’s Nottingham Lakeside Wedding

25th August 2014, 6:07 pm

Richard & Kimberly enjoyed a beautiful wedding ceremony & reception at Nottingham’s Lakeside, a grade II listed building, set in sumptuous landscaped gardens.  Kimberly looked ever part the stunning bride in a ornate lace dress.  Richard too looked the perfect gentleman in his morning suit.   With over a hundred family and friends attending their special day it was certainly a grand occasion.

The weather was superb for photography, bright without being overly so.  Devon ice cream after the ceremony kept guests cool in the sun.  It was a wonderful wedding day in every respect.

Richard, who is a Director at Capital One, in Nottingham, gave an impressive speech, followed by a tremendous best man’s speech, by his brother. Evening entertainment ensued with the happy couple kicking off the karaoke with a spirited rendition of the Elton John classic ‘I guess that’s why they call it the blues’

Mr & Mrs Rolls are set to fly off to Thailand for what will be I’m sure a wonderful honeymoon.

Here’s a couple of my favourite images from Richard & Kimberly’s wedding:
