Sarah & Sam’s wedding ceremony, held at The West Bridgford Registry Office, was a smash hit with family and friends. Here’s a selection of some of my favourite images taken on the day, please press thumbnail to view full size.

Their Reception took place at the Reindeer Inn, a lovely little pub, at East Bridgford, that serves up wonderful food. At sunset I took some super pictures, in the gardens, using the warm golden light as the sun was slowly sinking beyond the horizon.

Christine & Tony enjoyed a wonderful wedding at The Oakwood Hall Hotel, Bingley, in Yorkshire. Rays of sunshine beamed upon the happy couple, as I took the photographs in the glorious gardens.

Carla & Daniel’s Wedding Day at Bestwood Lodge

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to cover weddings at many beautiful venues; but The Bestwood Lodge Hotel and it’s surrounding grounds, for me, certainly takes some beating. The staff are genuinely warm and friendly and there are so many aspects that lend themselves to fine photography, such as the Rose Gardens, that make this a photographer’s paradise.

Carla & Daniel enjoyed their Civil Ceremony in the lovely Chapel at Bestwood Lodge, followed by Wedding Breakfast in the restaurant. Throughout the day the sun shone and smiling newly weds made this a day that I’ll remember, a truly super day.

Here are some of the pictures from their album which I aim to have finished in time for when they return from their honeymoon, in the Maldives.

Holly’s Model Portfolio

Taking a break from weddings, last weekend, I decided to trip the light fantastic with top model Holly, who was looking for some new pictures to add her already impressive portfolio. She was looking for something different and I think we came up trumps with these pictures, taken using my Leica M9 coupled with the 75mm Summilux; and Bowen’s soft boxes to provide that delicate light so essential for flattering portraiture.

Kelly & Ben On Cruise Control

Kelly & Ben, the new Mr & Mrs Wilkinson, toast their wedding with a Pimm’s & lemonade, after a beautiful ceremony held at The Bestwood Lodge Chapel.

Kelly looked amazing in her lovely lace wedding dress. Sister Toni & best friend Jo were the perfect bridesmaids.

Now aboard their honeymoon cruiseship, heading peacefully together toward paradise.

How come no one invites me to take pictures of their honeymoon me thinks!!!

Natalie & Robert Marry In Style At Belton Woods

Robert & Natalie, from New Balderton, Newark, enjoyed a super day at The Belton Woods Hotel, where both their wedding ceremony and reception was held. A truly beautiful venue and a lovely couple, a wedding that I will remember for a long while.

After the civil service, the happy couple mingled with family & friends, celebrating the occasion with cocktails, outside on the patio area. Nearby golfers looked on in awe, taking an unscheduled break to admire the bridal party fleet on by.

Once again it was the black & white pictures, taken with my beloved Leica M6, that were among my favourite images, some of which I had sepia toned, to add that magical timeless quality.

Jamie & Michelle Wed at The Country Park Farmhouse Hotel

Jamie & Michelle, during their civil ceremony, held at The Country Park Farmhouse Hotel, Castle Donnington.

The First Dance was one to remember, Jamie’s fab street dancing drawing applause from admiring guests.

A wonderful day was had by all. I cannot wait to see the b/w images taken with my trusty Leica !

The expressions on the faces of these cute page boys, stood against the farmyard brick wall, is simply wonderful.

I just love shooting in b/w, brilliant for catching mood and texture, adding a special timeless quality to the image.

Cara & Antony Celebrate Their Special Day

Cara & Antony enjoyed an absolutely fabulous wedding day. Here they are being showered with confetti, outside the gates of St. Mary’s, Wollaton, where their service was held.

Onward to the beautiful Millenium Garden’s of Nottingham University, for family photos, before joining guests for their Reception, at The Trent Building.

Bridemaids Kate, Hermione and Danielle; and not forgetting pageboy Mallachy, all looked wonderful throughout the day.
